CJRS | Claimants information made public

HMRC have confirmed that the details of employers claiming extended CJRS from December 2020 will be published online.

The information will be available from February 2021 on GOV.UK

The following information will be made public:

  • name of the employer;

  • the company number for companies and LLPs;

  • value of claims within banded ranges.

The reason is to improve transparency and fight fraud.

HMRC will not publish the details of certain types of employers and of those employers who can provide evidence that such disclosure will result in a risk of violence or intimidations of individuals.

If you think your details must not be published, please contact HMRC. Further guidance will be provided by HMRC soon.

Additional information will be available to furloughed employees on their Personal Tax Accounts on GOV.UK from February 2021.

Further details can be found HERE.

Should you have any questions, please let us know.
